Culkin will not be Home Alone for long

AGENCE FRANCE PRESSE
LOS ANGELES, March 31: Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin and Broadway actress Rachel Miner have announced that they plan to marry. Both are 17. In a joint statement issued by their publicist here yesterday, the couple said they were ``thrilled to have found each other.''

Home Alone is the story of an eight-year-old who is forced to fend for himself. Culkin followed up his success with Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, in 1992 and went on to star in a string of other movies including Getting Even With Dad, The Pagemaster and Richie Rich, all released in 1994.

Miner is currently appearing on Broadway in The Diary of Anne Frank. Culkin and four of his siblings were the subject of a bitter custody battle between their unmarried parents which was settled last year when the father, Christopher Culkin, agreed to give the mother, Patricia Bentrup, sole custody of the children.
