Delay in credit policy likely

NEW DELHI, MARCH 31: The Reserve Bank of India governor Bimal Jalan on Tuesday hinted that the central bank might not release the credit and monetary policy for the first half of 1998-99 (April-March) in April."It is unlikely to be in April," Jalan told reporters at a function held at the RBI headquarters in Mumbai.
