Vijay increases lead

March 31: Lucknow's Vijay Kumar has taken an assailable lead in the Mahindra Golf The Year Award', a press release said today. Vijay's season's earnings too have risen tremendously crossing the one million mark. It now stands at Rs 10,53,920 and looks all set to topple Gaurav Ghei's last year's record of Rs 10,93,833.Victory at the Beharampur Chini Open (March 19-22) took his total points standings to 304.50. Having won the Mercedes Benz Open at Chandigarh on March 29 has put him in such a position that even now he can be crowned with the coveted Rs 4.8 lakh crown.
