Campbell retained Zimbabwe skipper

UNITED NEWS OF INDIA
MUMBAI, March 31: Alistair Campbell has been retained as captain of Zimbabwe set for a fortnightly tour to India, where they will play a triangular one-day cricket contest with the hosts and Australia commencing tomorrow at Kochi, according to the information received here.

Zimbabwe play their first of possible four matches against Australia on Friday at Ahmedabad.

The selectors have reposed faith in Campbell who took over from Grant Flower last year but met with huge defeats both in Tests and one-dayers against New Zealand and Pakistan. Andrew Flower will be his deputy.

The team's main strike bowler is Heath Streak while all-rounder Paul Strang is making his second trip to India.

TEAM: Alistair Campbell (capt), Andrew Flower (vc-wk), Gary Brent,Craig Evans, Grant Flower, Murray Goodwin, Adam Huckle, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Paul Strang, Heath Streak, Dirk Viljoen, Andrew Whittall, Guy Whittall and Craig Wishart.
