Vijay Kumar wins again

CHANDIGARH, April 5: Vijay Kumar is on a roll. The Lucknow man played a superb two under par 70 to take home the Hero Golf Open title and alongwith it Rs 83,300 on the concluding day at the Ranjitgarh Golf Club Course, Phillaur near Ludhiana today.

This is Vijay Kumar's seventh title of the season and fourth out of the last five tourneys he has played in. The overnight leader, Jyoti Randhawa, could not sustain his three-stroke lead and carded a three over par today to finish second. He received Rs 55,550 for his effort while Shiv Prakash, from Kanpur played a par round to clinch the third slot.
