Trains for Mumbai

 
Additional special trains will run from Ernakulam junction on April 19 and 26 and on May 3 for Mumbai. The trains will leave Ernakulam Junction on Sunday at 11.55 am and arrive here on Tuesday at 4.35 pm. The trains will have a first class coach, 11 sleeper class coaches, one general second class coach and two luggage-cum-second class coaches, said a press release.

Vahatuk Sena's appeal

The Maharashtra Vahatuk Sena has appealed to all tourist car owners to join their organisation so that the grievances of tourist taxi operators can be addressed. Some issues to be discussed include pay-and-park rules, parking arrangements for tourist vehicles, reconsideration of the existing Motor Vehicle Act (Tourist Taxi) and pending accident claims at insurance companies.Those interested in joining the MVS may contact joint secretary Avinash Bhatya at Shiv Sena Bhavan, second floor, Shivaji Park, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
