Kannada Christians seek action against attackers
BANGALORE, April 16: The Karnataka Catholic Christians' Kannada Association has sought action against the miscreants who had attacked those demanding that the service at a Yeshwanthpur church be conducted in Kannada on Good Friday. Association President J A Rafael said though the protest had been peaceful, the protestors had been attacked by `goondas' belonging to a Tamil-speaking group, which wanted the service in Tamil.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
