Worker dies
Ravinder Kumar, a resident of village Jagatpura in district Roopnagar was injured while working in a factory in Sector 48, last evening. He succumbed to his injuries at the PGI, today.

Dowry harassment
Reema, a resident of Sector 21 reported to the police that she was harrassed by her husband and in-laws for dowry.

Eve-teaser held
Paramjit Singh, a resident of Roopnagar was arrested from Sector 16 on the charges of eveteasing. A case has been registered.

Maruti stolen
M Singh, a resident of Sector 38 complained to the police tnat his Maruti car CH01D 4899 was stolen from the parking lot near Nirman cinema in Sector 32. A case has been registered.

Assault case
Harjit Singh, a resident of village Burail was reportedly assaulted and injured badly by Tara, Kala and Krishan of the same village. The police have registered a case of attempt to commit culpable homicide.

TV stolen
Harinder Singh, reported to the police that someone broke into his Sector 30 residence and stole a colour TV. While, Muzibal Rehman of village Burail complained that his house was burgled of Rs 12,000 cash. Separate cases have been registered.
