Hi-tech hospital to open near Chikalthana

MUMBAI, April 25: An ultra-modern multi-disciplinary hospital with state-of-the-art equipment as well as diagnostic treatment services will be inaugurated by Vice-President Krishan Kant on April 26. The hospital is a project of the Videocon group of companies and will be known as `Seth Nandlal Dhoot hospital'. Late Nandlal Dhoot was a philanthropist, social reformer and founder chairman of the Videocon group of companies.

The hospital is located near Chikalthana airport near Aurangabad-Jalna highway over eight acres of land has been set up at a cost of approximately Rs 15 crore.

Rajkumar Dhoot, Managing Director, Videocon group and Dr Vijay Borgaonkar, Medical Director of the hospital, said the trustees of this hospital wish to offer one open heart surgery, free of cost per day for poor patients.

Services of specialists from outside will also be made available on specific requirements in order to help people below the poverty line.
