In reply to Parsi Gymkhana's total of 206 for 9 in the allotted 40 overs, the Shivajians Cricket Club achieved the target with eight wickets intact and ten overs to spare. Opener Vivek Deshmukh, whose unfinished century came with the help of 18 boundaries, was the man behind Shivajians' convincing win. He was given the required assistance by R Samus (70).

Earlier, Vivek Deshmukh alongwith Makrand Chavan and Abed Maskati did quite well in restricting the Parsi Gymkhana boys as they claimed two wickets each.

In another encounter of the day, Dhiraj Jadhav played an anchour role in leading Club of Maharashtra for a four wickets win against Stadium Cricket Club. With an unbeaten 84 coming from the bat of Dhiraj Jadhav, Club of Maharashtra had no difficulty in overhauling the winning target of 212. They tasted the win in 36 overs with the loss of six wickets. Ritesh Bangwad (31), Vinit Patil (27) and Kedar Bharan's (20) efforts also came handy for the CoM in their run chase.
