NPPA hikes prices of 20 drugs
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
NEW DELHI, May 27: The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) today increased prices of 20 medicines including analgin tablet and injection, ibuprofen and paracetamol dt tab and gentamycin injections.The authority has also fixed prices of three formulation packs thus revising prices of a total of 23 packs. The prices have been increased between 1.36 per cent and 25.38 per cent. Of the 23 packs, it fixed ceiling prices of 20 packs and non-ceiling prices for the remaining three formulations. NPPA has fixed the price of 200 ml bottle of dia-complex (th) at Rs 26.92. It has also increased prices of different packs of analgin tablets which range between 1.84 per cent to 6.71 per cent.
