YAMUNANAGAR, May 27: Left-handed Isha Chopra of Haryana, Harsimran Kaur of Chandigarh, Ankita Bhambri of Delhi and Rani Smita Jain of Rajasthan moved into the girls under-16 semis of the Adidas North Zone junior tennis tournament here.While Harsimran defeated Sativka Saboo 6-3, 6-1, Isha Chopra stopped the winning march of Delhi sensation Sanna Bhambri 6-2, 6-0. However, Sanna's sister Anikta Bhambri moved into semi-final with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Poornima Naryan 6-2, 6-1 and Rani Smita Jain ousted Neha Singh of Chandigarh 6-2, 6-3.
Parantap Chaturvedi of Delhi made short work of Sukhamrit Lakhay 6-0, 6-1 in the boys under-14 quarters. He was joined by C S Mohanty, Sunil Kumar and P Vishal in the semi-finals. Amanjot Singh, N V Murli, Nipuan Gupta and Nishank Mishra entered the boys under-16 semi-finals.
