KHARAR, May 27: Keeping in view the principles of general transfers policy, the Department of Local Government, Punjab, has ordered the transfers and postings of 74 officials working in various civic bodies in the state.These include 20 executive officers, one municipal engineer, 10 assistant municipal engineer/assistant trust engineer, 21 junior engineers (municipal/trust), 3 municipal/trust superintendents, 9 accountants (municipal/trust), 7 inspectors, 2 sanitary inspectors and a station fire officer.
As per the copy of the orders issued in this regard by N. K. Arora, Principal Secretary to government of Punjab, Department of Local Government, all the officials have been directed to relinquish their present charges and join at their new places of posting immediately.
The executive officers, who have been transferred and posted, include - Raj Kumar Mittal has been given additional charge of Nakodar along with Kartarpur, Manmohan Singh from Jandiala to Ajnala, Manohar Singh Ajnala to Jandiala, Charanjit Singh from Urmar Tanda to Morinda, J. S. Thind from Ferozepur to Kapurthala, Pirthi Chand from Kapurthala to Ferozepur, Subhash Joshi from Kartarpur to Jagraon, Som Nath Kashyap from Lehragaga to Dhanaula and Bhadaur, Sushila Rana from Sultanpur Lodhi to Batala Improvement Trust, P. K. Goyal from Nabha to Ropar Improvement Trust, Harbans Lal from Shahkot to Sultanpur Lodhi along with additional charge of Shahkot, Balbir Singh from Ahmedgarh to Dhuri, Sardara Singh from Dhuri to Bhawanigarh, J. C. Goyal from Kotkapura to Khanna, Harbhagwana Garg from Khanna to Kotkapura, Lechhman Singh from Jagraon to Kharar, Ravinder Kumar Singla from Nurmahal to Nabha, Gulam Sabhar Khan from Sangrur to Barnala Improvement Trust, Harjinder Sill will continue at Sangrur Improvement Trust andIshtiaq Ali Khan will continue at Ahmedgarh MC.
