SA league
Fifteen teams will participate in the Delhi Soccer Association annual `A' and `B' division football league championship starting on Monday at the Ambedkar Stadium and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Teams have been divided into two groups within each division. The top two teams from each division will move into the `Senior' and `A' divisions while the bottom two teams will be relegated to `B' division.

Meanwhile, the DSA managing committee has constituted a league sub-committee comprising Syed Shaheen and Jagdish Malhotra as Chairman and Convenor respectively. Other members are Kishori Lal, Nagender Singh, Magan Singh Patwal, Salahuddin, and Sardar Harpal Singh.

Groupings: A Div: Group A: Delhi Cantt, Youngboys, Venus, Jat Heroes, Royal F.C, Ashoka F.C, Shakti F.C; Group B: B.B Stars, Ahbab Club, Uttarakhand Club, Garhwal Diamond, Victory Club, Bangadarshan, Delhi Tigers, Golden Stars.

B Div: Group A: Lodhi Club, Punjab Heroes, Cosmos Club, Young Bengal Association, Ajmal F.C, Timarpur Club, Panchkuian Youngs.

Group B: Delhi Veterans, Young sports, Union Club, Raisina Sporting, Gulabi Bagh, NJN Sports, West Delhi Club, Young Heroes.

Sabharwal Cup
Air Force, Palam will meet Delhi Police in the opening match of the second P.S.Sabharwal Memorial Challenge Cup Cricket tournament beginning on June 1 at the GGHSS No 2, West Patel Nagar. Twenty-four teams from Delhi are participating in the tournament.

D.S.Group in final
D.S.Group defeated Madras Club by 73 runs to enter the final of the second Lala Hari Ram Aggarwal Memorial Cricket tournament at the MCD ground.

D.S. Group will now meet Krishi Export on June 1 at 5.30 p.m.

Balvinder Singh was named the man of the match for his all-round performance for D.S.Group. He scored 61 runs and took three wickets for 38 runs.

D.S.Group: 261 for 7 in 30 overs (Rakesh Bhatia 65, Balvinder Singh 61, Anil Rana 37 n.o, Amar Singh 25, Kartarnath 2 for 41); Madras Club: 188 in 30 overs (Jayant Singh 31, Dhanraj Singh 22, S.Batra 20 n.o, Balvinder Singh 3 for 38, Praveen Thaper 2 for 38, Pankaj Thakur 2 for 31).

Police in quarters
East Delhi Police defeated Youngstar Club by 52 runs to enter the quarter-final of the first Shaheed Abdul Hameed memorial tournament at the Taj Enclave ground.

Brief Scores: East Delhi Police: 187 in 25 overs (Sunil 43, Sanjeev Saxena 36, Bhupender 29, Sanjay 23, Iqbal 3 for 22, Aabid 2 for 37); Youngstar: 135 for 8 in 25 overs (Monu 31, Dharam 21, Rajender 2 for 23, Sunil 2 for 27, Zakir 1 for 29).

DDA coaching
Siri Fort Sports Complex is organising a sports bonanza for its members and their children during the summer holidays. DDA will be conducting coaching in squash (Coaches: Shiv Nanda, B I Singh and Lalit Verma), tennis, skating, swimming and table tennis (coach: Indu Puri) during the month of June. The charges for various games will be: Squash -- Rs 500 for members and Rs 1,000 for non-members; Tennis -- Rs 800/Rs 1250; Skating Rs 100/Rs 400; Table tennis -- Rs 500/Rs 1,000.
