BANGALORE, June 1: Karnataka's Anoop Sridhar detached himself from the shadow of his friend and better known Kumardev Rajamanya with a 15-7, 18-15 verdict to annex the Boys Under-16 singles crown in the Kwality Biscuits Limited all-India mini badminton tournament at the Karnataka Badminton Association courts here on Sunday.Later in the day, Anoop partnered Kumardev and won the doubles crown to complete a day of accomplishment. Anoop's double-effort was matched by the younger Rajamanya- Niranjandev in the Boys Under-10 section.
Maharashtra's Trupti Murugunde won the singles title in the Girls Under-16 section stopping the winning spree of Pooja Patil of the host state.
