NEW DELHI: State-owned, Punjab Communications Ltd (PCL) has filed a special leave petition (SLP) in the Supreme Court alleging `malafide' on the part of the Government in rejection of its bid for installing 36,000 rural telephones in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The DoT had cancelled the bid for the rural telephony project, which was to be financed by the Asian Development Bank.

MUMBAI: Reliance Industries has been adjudged the runner-up in the investor relations category from among the emerging markets by Investor Relations Magazine of the UK. The award, given in association with the Financial Times, was announced at London on June 25. It was decided by polling the views of the financial community.
