Uranium deposits in Karna of high quality
BANGALORE, June 28: The uranium deposits found in Karnataka's Gulbarga district are of very high quality, according to State Mines and Geology Minister A B Patil. The deposits contain uranium oxide concentration of 0.1%, second only to Canada on a global scale, State Department of Mines and Geology Director, Basappa Reddy, said.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
