Most of the programmes planned deal with economics and science, not theatre, dance, or music. On July 7, Professor Jayant Narlikar will be delivering a lecture on `Mavericks on Astronomy' at the Pauling Club, National Chemical Laboratory. The talk will be followed by a debate on the subject. Professor K V Nori (executive vice-president of Tata Research Development and Design) talks on `Reactive Programming' the following day (July 8) at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics' auditorium. Another lecture is scheduled at the same venue on July 9, on `Experiences on Co-operation in Fundamental Research'. And last, on July 10, Gayatri Chatterjee discusses `The Newness of the French New Wave', with excerpts from various films at the NFAI. All the programmes are in the evening so that people have free time to attend. Good listening!
