AIFUCTO plans demonstration in New Delhi on July 21, starting from the University Grants Commission (UGC) building and ending at the Boat Club. On August 4, a demonstration following a dharna will be staged at all State capitals and University centres. Teachers will also go on a mass leave on the same day. A charter of 35 demands has already been submitted to the Government of India for implementation of the Rastogi Pay Review report and subsequent modalities by the UGC.

The Baroda University Teachers' Association council approved the resolution of AIFUCTO and decided to call its general body in the last week of July.
