According to the chairman of the department, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, the interviews for admission will be held at 12 noon the same day. The entrance test for admission to M.Phil in Gandhian Studies is to be conducted on August 4.

Meanwhile, the Department of Laws has announced that those students who wish to seek migration to LL.B. (III and V) and LL.M. (II) in the session 1998-99 may provisionally appear in a migration test to be held on July 19.

According to a press statement issued by chairperson of the department, Veer Singh, their admission shall be provisional and subject to production of their result of the previous classes by August 21. Candidates whose result has not been declared may apply for migration on the prescribed form and appear in the migration test provisionally.
