Angry residents block G.T. Road

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, July 10: Angry residents of Dilshad Garden blocked the busy G.T. Road area of East Delhi late last night in protest against the power and water crisis that gripped the area. According to some residents the power supply to the area had been cut-off since the morning and nothing was done by the DVB staff despite repeated complaints. According to police officials the residents squatted on the road throwing traffic on the busy road out of gear. Senior area police officials were at the spot trying to pacify the crowd. The road continued to be blocked till late in the night, and other details weren't available till the filing of this report.
