MUMBAI: Bookies heavily back sentimental favourites Brazil to achieve their Penta -- a fifth World Cup crown. The South American charmers are clear 62 paise favourites to lift the trophy, as against the hosts, France, whose chances stand at 1.40. The chasm, it was learnt, could have been far greater. But France, aspiring to lift the Cup for the first time in their maiden entry into the final have cut the odds a fair bit. Playing at home, in front of their own impassioned fans at the Stadia de France on Sunday, the French could well draw some vital inspiration, it appears.
