Vian's effort enabled Holy Cross to trounce St Joseph's (Kandivli) 5-1 in the under-16 IV-A group at the St Francis D'Assisi ground, Borivli. Vineet Pullicottil and Keegan Pereira were the other scorers for Holy Cross, while Joydon Andrade reduced the margin for the Kandivli side.

Irfan Shaikh's hat-trick saw Seventh Day Adventist rout Fatima (Vidyavihar) 4-0 in the under-14 III-D pool at the MSSA-Castrol Schools Sports Centre, Azad maidan. Waseem Ansari was the other goal-getter for the winners. In an interesting encounter, St Francis D'Assisi (Borivli) just about defeated Don Bosco (Borivli) by a solitary goal in the under-14 I-A section. Adam Alphonso netted the all-important goal on his homeground.

A brace by Zubin Ankleswaria helped St Mary's SSC to move past St Joseph's(Colaba) 2-0 in the under-14 I-B group.

The other player to shine was Anthony Conrad who netted both the goals in Our Lady of Salvation's (Dadar) slender 2-1 victory over Bombay Scottish (Mahim) in the under-14 I-D group. Rahul Singh scored for the losers.
