In an informal chat with mediapersons here on Monday evening, he said as a Governor he had no role to play except keep an eye on the happenings in the state and report the same in his monthly report to the Centre. On the formation of the Vananchal state, he said that all political parties supported the move.

The Centre should come out soon with a comprehensive package scheme which would ensure the economic development of the predominantly agrarian northern Bihar, he said.
