He said the announcement of the revision was made three months ago, only the official notification was issued on Monday.

Road show
The first-ever road show on `Radio Trunking' in the State will be held in Surat on Wednesday at the Kapadia Health Club from 11 am to 6 pm. The show is being hosted by Smarttalk, a Motorola Bhilwara Joint venture. Radio Trunking is a new concept in India in wireless communication. It is already operational in the city and has about 80 users. According to All-India Marketing Manager of Smarttalk, Rudolf D'Souza, the new communication medium can be used to reduce costs, increase productivity and eliminate non-business communication bills.

No profit scheme
The Gujarat Civil Supplies department, as part of a state government scheme, will provide onions and potatoes at `zero profit zero loss' rates to consumers. The vegetables will be available at the district godowns in the city and the Valsad and Dangs vegetable depots.
