Maharashtra CM threatens stir over deportations
Signed by 40 MLAs, the Opposition has moved a no-confidence motion against Speaker Datta Nalawade alleging bias in the manner the latter conducted the proceedings in the Lower House. The move came on a day which saw Maharashtra CM Manohar Joshi launch a frontal assault on the Oppn in the name of "asmita" (pride) of the State over the burgeoning issue of deportations of alleged Bangladeshis.
