PHNOM PENH, AUG 24: More than 1,000 protesters marched to Cambodia's Parliament today to support against Opposition's allegation of vote fixing in last month's general election. The protesters, mostly young men, rallied at Olympic Stadium in the capital, Phnom Penh, before marching to the National Assembly, carrying banners denouncing government leader Hun Sen.
Opposition parties have given Hun Sen, whose Cambodian People's Party officially won the July 26 election, until Saturday to resolve their grievances or face mass protests. ``The power of the people can overthrow anything,'' one Opposition leader, Sam Rainsy, to the crowd at the stadium. He urged supporters to maintain a protest outside Parliament.
