Stage is set for Indian supremacy

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
BANGALORE, Aug 24: Everything left in the Group VI Qualifying Round for the 31st Asian Youth Football Championship looks a matter of formality with hosts India, nine points under their belt, almost assured of winning the league.

After convincing wins over the tough Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, India take on minnows Bhutan in the final match of the league on the morrow. Only an out-of-the-world performance from the side from the hill kingdom can stop the march of the hosts.

In the first match on the final day, Pakistan will play Kyrguzstan in what is definitely a clash for the second place.

Indian coach will be forced to make at least one change to his starting line-up with defender Farooq Hyder forced out of the match after earning two yellow cards. Janak Basumatary is expected to take the place of Hyder in the first 11.
