Three-judge bench to hear Rajiv case
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
NEW DELHI, Aug 24: Supreme Court today directed constitution of a three-judge Bench to begin hearing from September 15 on the death references of 26 people convicted in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case and their appeals. This direction was given by a Bench comprising Chief Justice M M Punchhi, Justices M Srinivasan and S Rajendra Babu, which refused prosecution plea to defer the matter for eight weeks.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
