MUMBAI, Aug 24: The body of one of the five fishermen whose boat capsized on Sunday morning due to unexpected tidal activity at Walkeshwar has been found. The body of 32-year-old Abbas H Khan was retrieved by fishermen at Walkeshwar at around 11 am on Monday.On Sunday while the other four fishermen managed to swim to safety, Abbas' body remained missing due to bad weather. Even a naval rescue team could not find trace Abbas.
On Monday the police carried out a panchanama on the body and handed it over to the family, informed the police. Abbas' family will receive Rs 25,000 compensation from the state and another Rs 25,000 from the central government.
