Ramjas cagers win final
Ramjas School No. 4 beat Raj Rifles Boys Coy School 81-76 in extra-time in a thrilling final of the Ramjas memorial basketball tournament. At the end of regulation period, the teams were level at 67. Yogesh (26 points) of the winning team was adjudged the best player of the tournament. Vikas contributed 18 points. For Raj Rifles, Dalip Kumar (26) and Amarjeet Singh (20) were the chief contributors.Prizes were given away by Ashwani Kumar, former IHF persident. Salwan volleyball
Salwan volleyball tournament, for boys and girls (under-17), will be held from August 30-September 5 (boys) and September 7-12 (girls) at Salwan Boys School, Rajinder Nagar.
