Indian Express staffer retires
R Sridharan, Senior VDT Operator with The Indian Express, retired on Saturday after nearly 32 years of service. He joined the newspaper in 1966 as a teletype operator in the hot-metal era, and progressed to become proficient in the latest printing technology. He was given a fond farewell by his colleagues from all departments, who wished him well in his retired life.
