According to party sources, the workshop was likely to evaluate BJP's performance at the State level. About six sessions will be held over the two-days, during which party leaders are expected to talk about the expectations from councillors and office-bearers.

Various civic issues facing the city and the party's performance in the Vadodara Municipal Corporation is also likely to be evaluated. According to sources, the party was giving importance to the workshop, considering the municipal elections in 2000 A.D.

Chairmen of city-based Boards and Corporations are also expected to attend the meet. While the dates have been decided, sources say, the list of leaders who will address the meet is being finalised.

A similar workshop was held at Sokhada in 1995 after the BJP captured power in the VMC.
