Panned in India, Mani Ratnam's Dil Se hits British top ten
In London it is bigger -- screen for screen -- than Godzilla. While The Avengers can barely manage to pull 200 punters into even the big West End screens, the same number are being turned away every night from cinemas in the suburbs showing a slushy, low-budget Indian love story, Dil Se (From The Heart), a Bollywood musical.
