MUMBAI, Sept 8: Three gangsters belonging to Guru Satam-Chhota Rajan gangs were arrested near Mukesh Parekh Industrial Estate by Thane police (rural) early this morning.Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by SP Ashok Kamte raided the hideout in the Ghodbunder Road area. A country made revolver, two live cartridges and two choppers were recovered from the trio who were identified as Prashant Satyen Kamble (28), Vasant Seena Kotian alias Sunil Shastri alias Maharaj (30) and Ratnya Ambre alias Ramesh Ambre (20). The three were remanded to police custody.
According to Thane police, Kamble acted as a collection agent for Guru Satam.
