JAMMU, Sept 10: Harkat-Ul-Ansar militant who masterminded the Champnari massacre in Doda district in which 25 people were killed on June 19 has been arrested.A police spokesman said here this evening that on receiving specific information, Doda district police apprehended Siraj-ud-Din alias Manzoor of the pro-Pakistan militant outfit from Kishtwar.
Manzoor, a resident of Bhata Malan, confessed being a top militant with Harkat-ul-Ansar and to having masterminded the Champnari slayings.
