NEW DELHI, September 10: Three youths escaped with a constable's jewellery and wrist-watch while she was travelling in a bus around 11 a.m. yesterday.The constable, Neera, is posted with the Excise Department of the Delhi Police. After Neera boarded the bus, plying between Shahadra and ISBT, she asked the three youths to move as they were reportedly misbehaving. The three tried to push her instead. The constable slapped one of them, and a scuffle followed.
The youths then jumped off the bus when it slowed down near the Welcome Colony bus stop. It was only after they got off the bus that Neera discovered her valuables were missing.
