Chief Justice M B Shah and Justice Y S Jahagirdar were hearing a petition filed by Investors' Grievances Forum (IGF) president Kirit Somaiya when Bhansali's counsel Niteen Pradhan prayed that the petition be dismissed. He said a scheme of returning money to investors of CRB Capital Markets Ltd had already been submitted to the Delhi High Court which was hearing a winding up petition filed by RBI against CCML.

IGF counsel Janak Dwarkadas and Chandu Mehta opposed Bhansali's contention to dismiss the petition on the ground that the scheme was only concerned with investors of CCML, the parent company. IGF was interested in investors of all the 133 satellitecompanies of the group, the court was told. The matter is adjourned to October 14.
