EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE

NASHIK, Sept 14: A dharna was organised by various parties and organisations at the Saint Gadge Maharaj statue, to express solidarity with social activist Anna Hazare today.

The day-long dharna was supported by the Hind Mazdoor Kisan Panchayat, Janata Dal, Hawkers' Union, Mahila Hakk Sanrakshan Samiti, Rashtra Seva Dal, Chhatra Bharati and Bharastachar Virodhi Jan Andolan Samiti.

The agitators also launched a signature campaign expressing support to Hazare's campaign against corruption. Some members of the Rashtra Seva Dal and Satyashodhak Andolan and Bhrastachar Nirmulan Samiti, ripped off the right sleeves of their shirts to protest against Hazare's arrest.
