CIA uncovers sustained N Korea aid to Pak's Ghauri missile programme
Pakistan recently received several shipments of sophisticated weapons material from North Korea including warhead canisters for the new Ghauri missiles built with North Korean technology, according to US intelligence reports. The shipments were reportedly received in June -- weeks after the nuclear tests in the subcontinent -- by Pakistan's nuclear beehive Khan Research Laboratories.

Clinton may escape with a reprimand
Public and political mood in the United States is moving swiftly towards a censure or reprimand of President Clinton for his follies, sparing the country the pain and spectacle of impeachment proceedings. Iran puts forces on full alert at border
Iran's armed forces are on full alert and is continuing build-up of troops along the Afghanistan border. Iran plans to deploy nearly 270,000 forces along most of its 850-km border with Afghanistan.
