``I will not quantify the loan amount'', Ambedkar told a news conference here, saying he was making the suggestion as there was a great danger of fundamentalist and terrorist forces raising their heads in Pakistan, which was on the brink of bankruptcy. This would ultimately affect India, he said.

There would be an added influx of people from across the border to India if anarchy erupts there, and India would have to bear Rs 10,000 crore to tackle the problem of immigrants, he said. Three per cent of Pakistan's population, constituting religious minorities, would come to India, he added.

``We must accept the fact that Pakistan has an identity and treat it as one nation treats another'', the grandson of Dr B R Ambedkar, said. However, India should ensure that the loan is spent only on essential commodities, hesaid.

Recently, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav had demanded at a rally here that a Rs 2,000 crore aid be given to Pakistan, which Yadav later claimed was reported out of context by Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna.

The Congress, which has an alliance with the SP in the State, however, said it was not supportive of such a demand.
