GHAZIABAD, Sept 21: A magisterial probe has been ordered into the Uttar Pradesh mishap in which at least 10 labourers were killed, seven critically injured when a building under construction caved in here yesterday.``The toll is likely to go up as at least 15 labourers are still feared trapped under the debris of the four-storeyed residential complex at Shalimar Garden locality in Shahidabad in western UP,'' a senior police official at the site said.
The structure developed cracks along the common staircase and a car park in the basement. At least 30 labourers were working in the complex at the time of the incident, the officials said.
Nearly 100 fire fighters and policemen, backed by bulldozers and other equipment, were sifting the debris looking for possible survivors or dead.
