Mayor's Trophy athletic meet

PUNE, Sept 21: Over 1500 athletes have confirmed their participation for the district-level Mayor's Trophy athletic meet which gets underway at the Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi from September 23 to 27.The meet which being held under the auspices of the Pune District Amateur Athletic Association will see participation in the under 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 age-groups in both boys and girls sections, apart from the open category for men and women. Performance of the participants will be considered for the selection of the District teams for Senior Inter-State meet at Mumbai and Junior and Sub-Junior State meets at Thane.
