Woman harassed
A resident of Bhootarijhapa in Karelibaug, alleged that her husband and in-laws had been torturing her physically and mentally for not bringing Rs 10,000 cash and an autorickshaw from her parents. In a FIR lodged in the city police station on Monday, she said that her parents were not in a position to arrange for cash and the vehicle as demanded by the accused. The police are investigating the case.

Arrested
The Makarpura police on Monday arrested three women in connection with dowry. According to details, a resident of Vijay Nagar in Tarsali in a compliant lodged in the police station had alleged that her in-laws were torturing her for not bringing dowry.

Vehicle stolen
A sunny moped (GJ-6-L-9092) worth Rs 7,000 was stolen from Fatehgunj Parking on Monday. A case has been registered and is being investigated.
