NEW DELHI, September 22: Violence was reported again from Safdarjung Hospital as members of the karmachari union clashed with members of Sangharsh Sangh on Tuesday. Two members of the karmachari union have been arrested and cases filed under CrPC Sections 107 and 151 for breach of peace.The karmachari union members allegedly attacked the president of the Sangh, Madan Pal, and general secretary Dr Vikas Vajpayee in the morning. A short while later, the union's joint secretary, Murtaza Ali was assaulted. Ali who has been hospitalised with a head injury, said he was on his way to the medical superintendent's office after hearing news of the bashing up of his union leaders. ``I was suddenly ambushed by two members of the other union, Subash and Suresh. Another member, Karamveer alongwith Vijender hit me with a rod which they had been hiding''.
Karamveer and Vijender have been arrested.
