NEW DELHI, September 22: Armed robbers barged into the house of a Sub-Inspector in Seelampur this afternoon and decamped with over 26 tolas of gold and some cash. The police say Raj Bala, wife of SI Sube Singh Rana, and their daughter Kamlesh were alone at home when eight or nine persons came asking for one Rampal.
During the course of the conversation, they barged into the house. They robbed the woman of her gold rings, bangles and chain. They then locked the mother-daughter duo in a room and took away more gold from the almirah after ransacking the house.
