HYDERABAD, SEPT 23: ZEE TV chief executive officer (CEO) Subhash Chandra Goel today expressed concern over the role of professional goons in settling business deals and said that unless their activities were controlled, the investment flow into the State would be affected. On his way to Vijayawada to console the family members of Zee TV resident director and Siti Cable managing director P Ramakrishna, who was murdered on Monday, Goel told newsmen during a brief stopover here that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu spoke to him over telephone from USA yesterday and conveyed his condolences.
While stating that Zee TV had not demanded a CBI probe into the murder, Goel felt it was the State Government's responsibility to nab the culprits. He also admitted that Ramakrishna's murder had scuttled Zee TV's plans to further expand its business in the State.
