Thane Labour lawyers to continue stir

MUMBAI, SEPT 23: Over 250 Thane labour and industrial lawyers who have stayed away from the courts since September 15 announced that their agitation would continue. Their agitation is in support of their Mumbai counterparts who are protesting the state government's failure to shift the dilapidated courts at Tardeo.Earlier, the Thane-based lawyers decided to abstain from work till September 21. They met on September 22 and declared to would continue their stir since the state government has failed to reply to their plea. Meanwhile, the agitation by the Labour Law Practitioners Association (LLPA) today entered the 10th day. President of the LLPA Sharad Pathak said that the members of the association will continue with their action till the government provides them a safe and adequate premises to house the courts.
