HSTA members rap postings

VADODARA, Sept 30: Members of the Higher Secondary Teachers' Association have condemned the Education Department's decision to post teachers to other schools for supervision duties during the trial SSC and HSC examinations scheduled to begin from October 5.

Members claimed that it was a difficult for most of the teachers to go to other schools, as it was necessarily not near their locality. They also alleged teachers were not informed beforehand about the postings. Association president Patel claimed that the teachers were also not paid conveyance allowances.
