Cong to oppose "subversion" of Constitution, says Pawar
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sharad Pawar has said the Congress and its allies would thwart any attempt by the BJP-led government to subvert the Indian Constitution in the garb of its review.

Akalis may ditch BJP on Udham Nagar issue
The Shiromani Akali Dal is likely to withdraw its support to the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Centre on the issue of transfer of Udham Singh Nagar to the newly created state of Uttaranchal. However, a final decision will be taken at its working committee meeting fixed for October 6.
